Tigers

Our bengal tigers Rajah and Khan can be found in our "Wild Asia" section. They love to swim! Bengal tigers are native to India and Bangladesh and are currently endangered.

Lions

Did you know a lion's roar can be heard up to 8km away? Our lion is a 6 year old male called Kovu. Lions are found in sub-saharan Africa and are classified as "vulnerable".

Leopards

Leopards are found throughout Africa and Asia and are classified as "vulnerable". Our leopards are sisters called Luna and Lyra.

Giraffes

Our friendly herd of giraffes are found in our "African Adventures" section.

Red Pandas

Our red pandas are in the "Wild Asia" sesion. They are native to China and are currently endangered.

Lemurs

Here at Jem Zoo we have two kinds of lemur- ring-tailed and red-ruffed, both native to Madagascar and endangered.

Deer

We have a friendly herd of deer in our petting zoo section. You can buy feed to give them in our gift shop.

Polar bears

Our polar bear is a male called Luka. Polar bears are classified as "vulnerable" and are found throughout the Arctic circle.

Our indoor aquarium contains over 200 species from all over the world. Get up close and personal with our sharks and sea turtles!
